PHYSICAL MASTERY · LEVEL 3

Integrity.

Earn the right to load movement.

Mobility and movement quality determine whether force can be expressed through a structure prepared to tolerate it.

L3 / L5 · Framework → Regulation → Fuel → Integrity → Stimulus → Engine

Load does not fix every movement problem.

The body adapts to the demands placed on it. That is what makes training work.

But adaptation is not automatically desirable.

If a movement strategy is compromised and you repeatedly load that strategy, the body can become stronger at producing the compensation.

Integrity asks whether the structure and movement pattern are ready for the load you intend to apply.

THE PRINCIPLE

Mobility is usable range, not party tricks.

More range of motion is not automatically better.

Useful mobility is range you can access, control and express in the movements your life and training require.

The objective is not maximum flexibility. It is sufficient movement capacity with control.

What Integrity is looking for.

Range

Can the relevant joints reach the positions the movement requires without borrowing motion somewhere else?

Control

Can you own the available range rather than simply fall into it passively?

Symmetry

Are meaningful left-right differences affecting how force is distributed or how the movement is performed?

Stability

Can the body maintain the positions it needs while force is being produced, transferred or absorbed?

Movement quality

Can the complete pattern be performed without pain, uncontrolled compensation or a limitation that meaningfully changes the task?

DIAGNOSTIC QUESTION

Is the limitation actually strength?

If a movement repeatedly breaks down, adding more load is not automatically the answer.

The limitation may be insufficient range. Poor control. A meaningful asymmetry. Pain. Or simply a movement strategy that has never been properly developed.

Before demanding more output, make sure the system can express the movement you are trying to strengthen.

Correct what matters. Then retest.

Integrity should not become an endless collection of corrective exercises.

Identify the limitation. Apply a targeted intervention. Practice the improved movement. Then reassess.

If the intervention changes the relevant movement, it earned its place.

If nothing changes, reconsider the diagnosis or the method.

The goal is not to live in correction. The goal is to restore enough capacity to train.

THE HANDOFF

Once the structure can tolerate demand, apply demand intelligently.

Regulation establishes capacity. Fuel supplies resources. Integrity establishes usable movement.

Now the body needs a sufficiently strong reason to change.

That is Level 4: Stimulus.
